Corona Extra has been turning dreams into a reality for new artists in the field of electronic music for 9 years running. They now enter the Regional Finals stage for the best DJ’s who will compete in the National Final and represent England in the 2009 International Grande Finale of Movida Corona! And what better place to hold the London Regional Final than The Den & Centro (formally The End/AKA)!! With the clubs notorious sound system and mind blowing new lightening system, not to mention CJ MACKINTOSH, PAUL TROUBLE ANDERSON & JAZZIE B headlining the night, this is set to be one of the greatest regional finals of all time!!
On Saturday 26th September the Movida Corona London Regional DJ Finals will be taking place at the all new Den & Centro (formerly the End & Aka), situated in the heart of London. The Four London Finalists will be competing on the iconic "Thunderidge X2000" Soundsytem in a venue that has played host to some of the greatest DJs of dance music, for the chance to go through to the 2009 Grand Finale of the Movida Corona DJ Competition and represent England.
Headlining this event will be three of London’s finest namely Jazzie B (Soul 11 Soul / Radio London’s 94.9FM), DMC UK Mixing Champion CJ Mackintosh and the Legendary Paul Trouble Anderson (50th Birthday Party Set).
Mr M (Movida Corona Host & DJ) will be presiding over the competition between the four London finalists Tomasz Milenda, El Maddox, Ben Crew & Limao. The awesome foursome have made it through a vigorous, competitive process, mixing their rivals off the decks, these are the final London Contenders for the England finals.
Legendary headliners, plus the new kids on the block, the final ingredients are a few current stars across London’s dance scene, to provide the perfect topping for this party. We welcome DJ Woody (Choice FM), Andrew Smalls (International Beat / Starpoint Radio, Fenton Gee (Noize / DJ Factory) & Cesar R (Goldfish).
