Having booked an incredible array of guests for their events all of the capital in the past seven years SoulBrew's Spin Doctor & Andy Bird have plummed once again for the original funky dred Jazzie B who has rocked their crowd time and time again as only he can. Jazzie B has helped shape the sound of soul in the UK and brings his unique sound to the basement of this great East London venue. Expect a brilliant mix of classic soulful floor-fillers with a fist full of exclusives thrown in for good measure. Alongside him residents and founders Spin Doctor & Andy Bird will be joining the dots playing a fun packed blend of soul, boogie, disco, Hip-Hop, house and beyond at this ever popular Shoreditch venue. As with all SoulBrew events this is going to be another knees up for those wise enough to know how to let their hair down and kick their feet up! Joining SoulBrew upstairs for his own birthday is The Last Skeptik. A radio host, budding journo, as well as beat making hustler Skeptik has shared stages with Damon Albarn, Flea (Red Hot Chill Peppers), Zero 7, Terri Walker and Tony Allen as well as performing as part of Africa Express at the BBC Electric Proms. For his birthday party we're pleased to welcome him to host the upstairs room alongside soul boy and crate digger extraordinaire DJ Lok. Joining them will be band of the moment Get Cape Wear Cape Fly with an exclusive funk DJ set. Expect Parliament, Rick James, Prince, James Brown and much more funk and disco in this intimate lounge space.
