BACK II LIFE is a one week festival that will host a series of sophisticated events at some of the worlds most amazing and exclusive environments, combining Antigua's stunning scenery with the unique sounds of some of the UK's most influential DJs. By day you can enjoy sporting activities, tour the island, or simply relax and be pampered on one of the world's finest beaches.

the story so far

Thirty years ago, a few of London's pioneering DJs forged a blueprint for club culture that has since gone on to dominate the world-wide music scene.

The underground 'sound system' set up of the warehouse party era exploded into the mainstream.  Soul II Soul & friends had instigated a global shift that changed the face of clubbing forever. Good times were had by all and deep-rooted reputations grew!

In 2004 SOUL II SOUL presented a unique addition to the international party circuit BACK II LIFE, ANTIGUA. A truly original breath-taking opportunity to experience the original vibe of the London club scene in the Caribbean.

This film was shot in April of 2008 in Antigua and goes someway to explain what this event means to the DJs involved.

It should be noted a rare occasssion to have the mighty Rodigan in front of a video camera, over his epic career he has frequently quoted 'video killed the radio star'...
